Dr. Hari Suman Naik's picture

Hari investigates open and user innovation, with a focus on designing innovation toolkits and platforms, and entrepreneurship in the empirical areas of 3D printing and Internet of Things. 

He is a postgraduate (PGDM/MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore focusing on strategy and product management. His business skills are complemented by a technical mindset, as he is also a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. 

He has worked in a variety of organizations and in diverse fields. He has been a consultant at Cognizant Business Consulting in the area of Business Process Management (BPM) in financial services and has worked at Yahoo in product management for its image search product. Prior to his MBA, he was a Software Engineer and Developer at Computer Associates Technologies (CA). His electrical engineering and intercultural skills were further developed as he researched energy networks at ENEA, Rome and mobile ad-hoc networks at the MMLAB in Seoul National University, S. Korea.
