University of Latvia, Riga

Studying in this University means getting the possibility of an academic bachelor’s or master’s degree in humanities (philology, philosophy, history, theology a.o.), pedagogy, social sciences (economics, communication studies, political science, psychology, sociology, law, management a.o.), sciences (biology, physics, geography, geology, chemistry, mathematics, environmental science a.o.), and health sciences (pharmacy, nursing). Based on the former Riga Polytechnic, which was founded in 1862, the University of Latvia has reached high educational standards during the past century. 

Karl-Franzens University of Graz

About 27,000 students are enlisted in the Karl-Franzens University of Graz, which has been founded already in 1585 by the Archduke Karl II of Inner Austria. Students can choose from more than 100 bachelor, master and diploma programs in six faculties. The number of Nobel prized winners, who researched in Graz is noticeable as well.

Stockholm School of Economics, Riga

According to its mission and targets the SSE Riga is a University of state-of-the-art-education and economics that contributes especially to the economic and social development in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The Stockholm School of Economics is independent from the state university system. It offers a three-year B.Sc. in Economics and Business and since 2002 also an Executive MBA program. Students from the FAU are invited to participate in the undergraduate classes only.

Corvinus University of Budapest

In the year 2000, the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, the College of Public Administration merged, forming the new Corvinus University of Budapest. As result of the integration process of the past few years, the University of Horticulture and Food Industry joint the Corvinus University. Tday, around 17.422 students and 873 teaching staff work and learn at the Corvinus University of Budapest.

University of Economics, Prague VSE

The University of Economics, Prague consists of six faculties: The Faculty of Finance and Accounting, the Faculty of International Relations, the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Statistics and Informatics and the Faculty of Economics and Public Administration as well as the Faculty for Management. Besides the Faculty of Management, which is based in Jindřichův Hradec, all are located in Prague. The university offers a variety of study programs in the capital of the Czech Republic.

Warsaw School of Economics

One of the leading Business Schools in Poland, which is situated in its capital is receiving more than 300 Erasmus Students per semester. Bachelor and Master students have the possibility to choose between a various proposal of courses considering their Study Programme as well as leisure activities. During the last century the university, its structure and name kept on changing, what initially was caused by World War II and political circumstances afterwards.
