With the project "Measures and recommendations for the healthy work of tomorrow" (MEgA) launched in November 2015, holistic concepts and methods for modern HR and health management are developed in a digitized and dynamic work environment. In doing so, the effects of mental stress as well as a healthy balance between work and leisure time and health-promoting leadership are taken into account.
The orientation to reach healthy work environment is given mainly to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Because of the lack of resources, there are often uncertainties about what health and support measures are necessary and feasible in the future. Demographic change, which is increasingly confronted with the challenge of skilled labor and the needs of an aging workforce, also requires demographic change. The retention of their employability is particularly important in the case of older employees.
